Call for Abstracts
- Participants are invited to submit Obstetrics & Gynaecological research abstract(s) for consideration by the Congress Scientific Committee on or before 7th June 2023.
- The research must not have been published or presented in any other conference.
- There is no limit on the number of submissions by each participant.
- Case reports will be accepted.
- The committee reserves the right to decide on the selected E-posters.
- A RM 50 cash rebate would be given to each trainee with an accepted abstract. This cash rebate has to be collected from the secretariat only during the congress.
Abstrac Submission Guidelines

- Abstracts must be submitted in UK English via this page.
- Abstracts submitted through fax, email, post will NOT be considered.
- The text must be typewritten in Times New Roman, font size 10, not more than 250 words
- Structured abstract shall include: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
- For case reports, the abstract should have the following structure: Introduction, Case description and Discussion.
- Do not include figures, tables, pictures or references in the abstracts.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you once the submission is accepted. Please ensure your email address is correct.
- The registration fee for the presenting author should be paid latest by 6th June 2023.
- Authors of selected abstract will be notified by 14th June 2023.
- All accepted papers shall send in their E-poster on or before 26th June 2023.
- The corresponding/ presenting authors of the selected top FIVE best E-Posters shall be notified by 25th June 2023.
- The top five best E-Posters will be selected to be presented as oral poster presentation during the actual conference on 8th July 2023 (Saturday) at 3pm.

e-Posters Guidelines

- All E-Posters shall be prepared in PowerPoint format.
- Paper poster will not be accepted.
- Electronic Poster Presentation must submit their poster via the E-Poster Submission Platform. https://mscm.acadmed.my
- All information on an electronic poster must be compiled into one slide in landscape orientation
- Electronic posters must be converted and submitted in PDF format.

Oral Poster Presentation Guidelines
|
- Each presenter will be given 7 minutes to present the poster and 3 minutes for Q&A.
- The power point presentation shall be used during the oral poster presentation.
- The judge will have the final decision on the winners.
- Cash Prizes shall be given – first prize RM 700, second prize RM 500, third prize RM300
