It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to the 56th Malaysia-Singapore Congress of Medicine (MSCM), in conjunction with MyWomen International Congress 2023.

The Organizing and Scientific committees have designed a thought-provoking programme which not only focuses on the state-of-the-art and current aspects to optimize women’s health, but also includes substantial emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach to improve women’s health, which is vital to enhance the quality of life of women.

The topic chosen for the Presidential Round Table, which is one of the highlights of the MSCM, is “Incorporating Simulation in Specialist Training”. Simulation has been shown to be useful in many aspects of specialist training and assessment. With the growing focus on outcome-based medical education, there is an increasing use of simulation-based learning which provides a safe learning environment to acquire both technical and non-technical skills, and allows repeated practice and evaluation until a defined proficiency level is achieved.

Please save the date and we look forward to see you in July 2023.

It is with great honor and pride that the Academy of Medicine Malaysia invites you to our congress this year from the 7th to 9th of July 2023 in Royal Chulan Kuala Lumpur. The conference this year was made possible by the dedicated organizing committee who generously gave their time, talent and thought to produce an event meant to deliver beyond expectations. Our chosen theme this year “Optimizing Women’s Health”, couldn’t have been more apt as we work hand in hand with the Academy of Medicine Singapore, Academy of Medicine Hong Kong, College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Malaysia and the Malaysian Menopause Society to bring you the latest from the various subspecialities.

Get ready for an interesting, stimulating, and riveting conference. Know that the aim of this conference is for you to leave energized and equipped with new ideas to optimize the way we treat our women.
